About Dr. Salamatu Jidda - Fada

Dr. Salamatu is a conservation biologist, educator, climate action specialist, international development specialist, charity owner, politician, and mother with over 20 years of research and practice experience in academia, the third sector, and consultancy roles for governments and businesses in Africa and the UK. She has conducted pioneering research on vegetation change drivers in West and East Africa, funded by the International Foundation of Science and the Nigerian Government. Through her company, JAVS Environmental Care Ltd. (www.javscare.org), which operates in Nigeria, the UK, and Ghana, Dr. Salamatu consults globally for businesses, governments, institutions, and individuals on conservation and environmental management.
